The retention of our workforce will be enhanced through improvements to workforce establishment setting, deployment planning and the controlled use of temporary staff to ensure existing staff are able to optimise their work and home life balance, across all provider settings. The Nursing Operational Productivity Team are integrating their existing programmes of work including workforce establishment setting, safe staffing and rostering with the Retention Direct Support Programme to be able to offer Trusts a more aligned nursing workforce improvement support programme.
