Improving hand hygiene

Hand Hygiene is a key component of Standard Infection Control Precautions (SICPs) and remains a priority in tackling HAI.   A national Infection Prevention and Control Policy and Guidance Consensus Group (NHS Improvement in collaboration with NHS providers in England) have been developing the content of a national hand hygiene policy for England.   This policy is drafted; has been reviewed by NHS Improvement Editorial Team in preparation for wider consultation in January 2019.

To support the implementation of a national hand hygiene policy the group would like to know what hand hygiene improvement resources are being used within your organisations and whether there is opportunity to combine all nationally/locally developed hand hygiene improvement resources into a central location/repository that is accessible to all providers.

We would be grateful if you could complete this short questionnaire .
